Francis turbine is applicable to middle and low water head and middle and small flow of hydropower station. Micro hydropower project is usually using vertical type Francis turbine generator system. The turbine is mainly composed of spiral case (water diversion chamber), turbine runner or wheel, water guide vane (wicket gates), draft tube, etc.
Francis turbine is a kind of turbine suit to water head 20-300meters and with certain suitable flow.
It could be divided into vertical and horizontal arrangement. Francis turbine have the advantage of high efficiency, small size and reliable structure.
Horizontal Francis turbine unit, with horizontal shaft, could be 2 or three supports. Which is normally one stair arrangement. Simple structure, easier operation and maintainence.

The Francis Turbine ordered by a French customer has been produced.
The equipment was ordered at the end of 2018, because the customer’s engineering company will have other more powerful hydropower projects in the future, so this time he and her wife went to China together to visit our factory, and gave us feedback on the upcoming delivery.
Our engineers designed the Francis hydroelectric generating set for the customer uniquely based on the customer's head and flow data
