Dry-type multi-winding frequency conversion transformers are specialized devices designed to provide multi-phase rectified power for medium and high-voltage frequency converters. Using the principle of phase-shifting with extended delta connections, these transformers can form rectifier configurations with equivalent phase numbers such as 9-phase, 12-phase, 15-phase, 18-phase, 24-phase, and 27-phase through multiple secondary windings with different phase-shifting angles. The primary side of the transformer connects to the high-voltage power grid, while the secondary side consists of multiple phase-shifted three-phase windings, enabling diversified inputs and contributing to the current diversification of high-voltage variable frequency speed regulation technology.
