Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

DT-F waterproof copper terminal block is a functional copper terminal designed for harsh environments such as humidity, rain, and outdoor conditions. The core is achieved through a "multi-layer sealed structure+high-purity copper substrate", which effectively blocks moisture and dust intrusion while achieving low impedance connection of copper wires, avoiding poor contact or short circuit faults caused by environmental corrosion. Widely used in outdoor lighting, photovoltaic power stations, marine equipment, humid workshops and other scenarios, it is a key component to ensure the safety of electrical connections in harsh environments
The application scenarios of DT-F waterproof copper terminal blocks are concentrated in areas that ordinary terminals cannot adapt to, such as "humid, outdoor, and dusty" environments. The core coverage includes:
Outdoor electrical equipment:
Outdoor lighting system: Used for connecting 2.5-6mm ² copper wires to LED street lights and courtyard lights with lamp socket terminals. The DT-F-4 terminal (IP67) is resistant to rainwater spray and prevents internal short circuits in the lamp socket;
Outdoor monitoring/communication base station: 4-10mm ² copper power cord connection suitable for monitoring cameras and base station equipment, nickel plated DT-F-10 terminal resistant to coastal salt spray environment, ensuring continuous power supply for equipment.
New energy outdoor projects:
Photovoltaic power station: used for connecting copper cables (such as PV1-F 6mm ²) of photovoltaic modules with junction box terminals, DT-F-6 terminals (IP67) are suitable for outdoor exposure to sunlight and rain in photovoltaic arrays, avoiding a decrease in power generation efficiency caused by water ingress into cable joints;
Wind turbine tower: Connect the copper wires inside the tower to the wind measurement equipment and lighting system. The DT-F-16 terminal is resistant to low temperatures (-40 ℃) and is suitable for the high-altitude and low-temperature environment of wind farms.
Damp/Industrial Environment:
Food processing plant/printing and dyeing workshop: Used for connecting 10-35mm ² copper wires to workshop motors and control cabinets, with DT-F-25 terminals (IP67) to resist high humidity and water vapor erosion in the workshop, and to prevent water ingress and short circuits in the motor junction box;
Marine equipment (ships, yachts): 25-50mm ² copper wires suitable for ship electrical systems are connected to the distribution panel. The nickel plated DT-F-50 terminals (IP68) are resistant to seawater spray and salt spray corrosion, and comply with ship electrical safety standards (such as IEC 60533).
Municipal and transportation facilities:
Road signal lights/traffic monitoring: The 4-10mm ² copper wire used for signal lights is connected to the controller, and the DT-F-10 terminal is designed to resist rainwater and dust, ensuring the normal operation of the signal lights in harsh weather conditions;
Underground pipe gallery: 2.5-6mm ² copper wire connection for internal lighting and sensors in the pipe gallery, with DT-F-4 terminal (IP67) adapted to the humid and enclosed environment of the pipe gallery to avoid wiring faults caused by moisture.

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
