 Characteristics of use

  • The maximum long-term temperature allowed for the conductor during normal operation of the cross-linked polyethylene insulated overhead cable is 90 °C, and the maximum temperature allowed for the cable conductor is 250 °C in the event of a short circuit (the maximum duration does not exceed 5s);

  • The minimum allowable laying temperature of the cable is not less than -20°C;

  • Bending requirements for overhead insulated cables:

The minimum bending radius of single-core cable is 20 (D+d) ±5%;

The minimum bending radius of multi-core cable is 15 (D+d) ±5%.

Note: D is the actual outer diameter of the cable, and d is the actual outer diameter of the cable conductor
