Description
Description

12kV 13.2kV 13.8kV 14.5kV Environment-friendly Gas-insulated Metal-enclosed Switchgear/switchboard panel Application: used in power stations, medium & small-sized power plant, substation, high-rise building, industrial and mining enterprises, subway, electrical railway and other power distribution systems, for the control, receiving, distribution, protection and monitoring of power supply systems and electric energy.

The 12kV Environment-friendly Gas-insulated Metal-enclosed Switchgear is a cutting-edge power distribution solution designed for modern green grids. It replaces traditional SF₆ with eco-friendly insulating gas, combining high performance with low environmental impact. Suitable for urban power networks, renewable energy plants, and industrial facilities, it ensures safe, efficient power distribution in a compact, metal-enclosed structure, aligning with global sustainability goals.

Key Features

  • Eco-friendly Insulation:Adopts non-toxic, low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) gas instead of SF₆, eliminating greenhouse gas emissions and meeting strict environmental regulations (e.g., EU F-gas Directive).

  • High Safety & Reliability:All-metal enclosed structure with advanced sealing technology prevents gas leakage and resists external interference (dust, moisture, electromagnetic fields), ensuring stable operation in harsh conditions.

  • Compact Design:Space-saving structure reduces installation footprint by up to 30% compared to conventional switchgear, ideal for urban areas or sites with limited space.

  • Low Maintenance:Hermetic gas chamber and durable components minimize wear, extending maintenance intervals and reducing operational costs over the lifecycle.

  • Flexible Compatibility:Supports various wiring modes (ring network, radial) and integrates with smart grid systems, enabling remote monitoring and adaptive protection for intelligent power management.

  • Compliance with Standards:Certified by international norms (IEC, ANSI) for safety and performance, ensuring seamless integration into global power distribution networks.

FAQ
Q: Is pure air more reliable than dry air for environmentally friendly cabinet insulation?
A:
Pure air is more reliable in insulation stability but is more costly. Pure air undergoes multi-stage purification to remove dust, oil mist, and impurities, with a lower dew point (≤ -50℃ or lower). It has better anti-partial discharge performance in high-voltage gradients, suitable for 24kV and above high-reliability scenarios. Dry air only undergoes dehydration treatment, with higher impurity content, suitable for 12kV conventional distribution scenarios. Both meet insulation requirements for their respective application scenarios.
Q: What voltage levels are environmentally friendly cabinets suitable for?
A:
Environmentally friendly cabinets are mainly suitable for medium-voltage systems, with common voltage levels including 12kV, 24kV, and 35kV. 12kV cabinets are the most widely used in urban distribution networks, residential communities, and industrial parks. 24kV and 35kV cabinets are suitable for large industrial plants and regional power distribution systems. Some manufacturers also develop low-voltage eco-friendly cabinets, but medium-voltage applications are the main focus.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
