Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

This 40.5kV isolation switch is engineered for high-voltage charging cabinets, utilizing SF6 gas for superior insulation to ensure safe isolation of charging circuits. Its sealed design minimizes size, resists dust/moisture, and maintains stable performance in harsh environments.

Equipped with precise mechanical interlocks, it prevents misoperations like live switching, critical for protecting charging systems and operators. Compatible with industrial charging stations, renewable energy storage facilities, and substations, it complies with IEC and GB standards. Offering long mechanical life and low maintenance, it’s a reliable choice for high-voltage charging circuit isolation and control.

Considerations for the use of environmental conditions

The altitude does not exceed 2000m,the shattering ofnot more than 8 degrees;

The environmental temperature of the product is -40 degrees ~+140 DEG C, therelative humidity is not greater than 90% per day, and the average is not more than90% per month;
The installation site of frequent and violent shock, water vapor, chemical corrosiondeposition, salt fog, dust, dirt and fire, which obviously affect the performance ofthemechanism, are not suitable for the installation ofexplosive dangerous installations.

    Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
