The 550kV plate-shaped insulation rod is a key component in ultra-high voltage gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear (GIS). The following is its related introduction:
structural design
Basic structure: According to the "Technical Conditions for Insulation Rod for 550kV and Above AC Gas Insulated Metal Enclosed Switchgear", 550kV plate-shaped insulation rod is generally composed of a main body and end accessories. The main body is a vacuum impregnated sheet made of fiber-reinforced epoxy resin composite material, and the end accessories are generally made of metal for connection with other structures.
Connection method: The 550kV plate-shaped insulation rod adopts a unique combination connection structure with an inner core mesh outer sleeve and special threads. This structure can improve the mechanical performance of the insulation rod and ensure reliable connection between the end accessories and the main body.
Material selection
Insulation boards usually use glass fiber as the substrate. Glass fiber has high strength and modulus, which can provide good mechanical support for insulation rods. At the same time, epoxy resin has excellent electrical insulation and bonding properties. The glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite material made by combining the two can meet the electrical and mechanical performance requirements at 550kV voltage levels.
Performance Requirements
Mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥ 400MPa, compressive strength ≥ 400MPa, parallel layer shear strength ≥ 40MPa, interlayer bonding strength ≥ 4000N, to ensure that the circuit breaker can withstand mechanical loads such as tension, compression, and shear during operation.
Electrical performance: parallel layer electrical strength ≥ 8kV/mm, vertical layer electrical strength ≥ 18kV/mm, volume resistivity ≥ 1.0 × 10 ¹⁵Ω· cm, dielectric loss factor ≤ 0.7%, relative dielectric constant of 3-5, good insulation performance, able to effectively isolate high voltage.
Other properties: Water absorption rate ≤ 0.1%, glass transition temperature ≥ 115 ℃, good environmental resistance and thermal stability, able to operate stably for a long time under different environmental conditions.
production process
Vacuum impregnation process: Using vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) process, glass fiber cloth is impregnated with epoxy resin system under vacuum conditions, and then cured into shape. This process can minimize the generation of micro air gaps inside the board and improve insulation performance.
Processing technology: Cut and polish the vacuum impregnated rubber plate to produce a plate-shaped insulating rod body that meets the size requirements. Then, connect the end metal accessories to the insulating body through specific processes, such as adhesive bonding or mechanical connection
