Product descriptions from the supplier

Description

Overview

1. The transformers are designed and manufactured according to IEC60076 standards. The products have been certified by CCS,ABS, BV, DNV, GL, RS, RINA, LR, and other ship classification societies, and have obtained corresponding ship inspection certificates.
2. The transformer core uses high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets from Baowu Group, cut and assembled using a se ven-step 45° fully inclined seam process. No-load loss, no-load current, and operating noise are all superior to national and industry standards, effectively reducing product weight, size, and greatly reducing transformer inrush current during energization.
3. For the CSCBD series marine transformers, the windings use epoxy resin casting technology. ANSYS simulation technology is applied for multi-physics field coupling simulation, ensuring winding structural strength and optimizing cooling air ducts, effectively reducing winding hot spot temperature and improving the transformer's overload capacity.
4. The transformer case is made of 2.0mm cold-rolled steel plate. High-temperature silicone rubber strips are used for sealing between the frame and movable panels, meeting protection class requirements while effectively reducing vibration noise. The case meets C5M anticorrosion standards, with corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and UV resistance. The coating is crack-resistant and wear-resistant.
5. The transformer can be equipped with intelligent components to monitor its operating status in real-time, including real-time power transmission, operating voltage and current, operating temperature, insulation performance monitoring, etc. When any of these perf ormance parameters are abnormal, it can output a switch alarm signal. It has a "black box" function, allowing all operating parameters to be viewed in real-time on the cloud.

Environmental Conditions for Used

Altitude: ≤ 2000m (products for altitudes above 2000m can be customized)
Ambient temperature: -40℃ ~+55℃
Relative humidity: ≤ 95%

Applications:

CSD/CDD series marine transformers are used on ships and off shore platforms. Their main purpose is t o provide lighting and power supply for ships or offshore platforms, as well as safety isolation, voltage conversion, and energy transmission. They can also be used in shaft generator systems for voltage conversion and energy transmission. Marine transformers play a crucial role in ensuring the normal operation of power systems on ships and offshore platforms.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
