Description

Product overview:

 Mine general type transformer:

  • It is used in places where there is coal dust and biogas in mine and there is no explosion danger. It is used for electric driving and lighting.

  • Mine general transformer is strong in structure and low in appearance. The tank is mechanically strong enough to withstand pressures of 0.1 mpa without permanent deformation. The high and low voltage inlet and outlet lines of mine transformers are equipped with cable junction boxes filled with insulating adhesive.

  • Mine general transformer is equipped with no excitation voltage regulation, voltage regulation range is ±5%; The secondary coil leads to 6 terminals, which can use Y - connection or Delta - connection.

Mine flameproof transformer:

  • Used in places with explosive danger in mines. This kind of transformer is mostly made of dry type, the main structural characteristic is that all the joint surface of the box shell is made according to the flame-proof requirements, and it can bear the internal pressure of 0.8 mpa.

  • The capacity of mine dry-type transformer is usually 4000kVA (4MVA) and 2500kVA (2.5MVA), designed for electric drill, lighting, signal and other equipment power supply. Its inlet and outlet lines are led out by cable through the outlet sleeve.

  •  High reliability of operation verification in more than 50 countries and regions around the world.

  • Our products are mainly exported to Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Chile and other countries and regions.

Leading technology:

  •  Large capacity, low loss, low noise (< 65dB) more energy saving

  •  Excellent performance index, actual measurement is better than GB and IEC standards

  •  The product has strong over-load capacity and over-voltage capacity, and can run safely for a long time under rated load

  •  Strong impact resistance and short circuit resistance

  •  With microcomputer protection device (measurement, control, protection, communication, etc.)

The shell:

  • Mitsubishi laser cutting machine and CNC punching, reducing, folding and other equipment to ensure the accuracy of processing.

  • ABB robot automatic welding, laser detection, to avoid leakage, qualified rate of 99.99998%.

  • Electrostatic spray treatment, 30 years of paint (coating corrosion resistance within 100h, hardness ≥0.4).

  • Use heat dissipation tubing (double row and three row tubing adopt insert mode) to achieve good heat dissipation effect.

  • Fully sealed structure, maintenance-free and maintenance-free, normal operation life of more than 30 years.

The iron core:

  • The core material is high quality cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel sheet with mineral oxide insulation (from Baowu Steel Group, China).

  • Minimize loss level, no-load current and noise by controlling the cutting and stacking process of silicon steel sheet.

  • The iron core is specially reinforced to ensure the transformer structure is firm during normal operation and transportation.

winding:

  • Low voltage winding is made of high quality copper foil, excellent insulation resistance.

  • The high voltage windings are usually made of insulated copper wire, using the patented technology of Hengfengyou Electric.

  • Very good resistance to radial stress caused by short circuit.

High quality material:

  • Baowu Steel Group production of silicon steel sheet.

  • China produces high quality anaerobic copper.

What safety precautions need to be paid attention to when using mine transformers underground?

Explosion-proof Safety:

Shell Inspection:

  • For flameproof mining transformers, it is necessary to regularly inspect the integrity of the flameproof shell. The flameproof joint surfaces should remain smooth and free from damage, and the flameproof clearance must meet the specified standards. For example, the flameproof clearance is generally required to be within a specified range, such as around 0.1 - 0.2 mm. Any clearance exceeding the standard may lead to the failure of the explosion-proof performance.

  • The bolts and other connecting parts on the shell should be complete and tightened to prevent loosening during the operation due to vibration or other reasons, which may affect the flameproof effect.

Preventing Internal Faults from Causing Explosions:

It is essential to ensure that the quality and installation of the electrical components inside the transformer meet the requirements to prevent faults such as short circuits and overloads from generating electric sparks or high temperatures. For example, the insulation of the windings should be in good condition to avoid inter-turn short circuits. Meanwhile, appropriate overload protection and short-circuit protection devices should be installed so that when overload or short-circuit situations occur, the power supply can be cut off in a timely manner to prevent the generation of energy sufficient to cause explosions inside the transformer.

Electrical Safety:

Grounding Safety:

  • Mining transformers must have reliable grounding. The grounding resistance should meet the specified requirements, and generally, the grounding resistance is required to be no greater than 2Ω. Good grounding can lead the current into the earth when leakage or other faults occur in the transformer, thus avoiding electric shocks to personnel.

  • The grounding devices should be regularly inspected to ensure that the grounding connections are firm and that the grounding electrodes are free from corrosion and other damage. For example, if the grounding electrodes are in a damp underground environment for a long time, they are prone to rust and corrosion, which will reduce the grounding performance and need to be replaced in a timely manner.

Preventing Electric Shocks:

  • The high-voltage and low-voltage terminals of the transformer should be enclosed or protected to prevent accidental contact by personnel. During maintenance and other operations, the power supply must be cut off first, and a warning sign saying "Someone is working, Do not switch on" should be hung.

  • Underground operators should be equipped with personal protective equipment such as insulating gloves and insulating boots, and they should receive relevant electrical safety training to be familiar with the operation and safety precautions of the transformer.
