Description

OT copper open terminal ("OT" stands for "Open Terminal", corresponding to the open structure) is a standardized component designed specifically for connecting copper wires with bolt type equipment terminals (such as grounding terminals, distribution box copper bars, motor terminals). Its core feature is the "U-shaped open connection end+tubular/fork shaped crimping end", which can be directly screwed into the bolt and tightened without disassembling the bolt, combining convenience and low impedance conductivity advantages. It is widely used in power distribution grounding, industrial equipment wiring, automotive electrical and other scenarios, and is the core component to improve wiring efficiency in bolt connection scenarios
The design core of OT copper open terminal block is "bolt compatibility of open connection end" and "wire fixing reliability of crimping end", and the structure and process need to meet the requirements of fast installation and stable conductivity at the same time
The application scenarios of OT copper open-ended terminal blocks are highly concentrated in the field of "bolt fixation and quick wiring", with core coverage of:
Distribution and grounding system:
Low voltage distribution box grounding: used for connecting the 4-25mm ² copper grounding wire to the distribution box grounding bar (bolted). The OT-10 terminal (compatible with M6 bolts) can be directly fitted into the grounding bar bolt to quickly complete the grounding circuit wiring, in accordance with GB 50169 "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Grounding Devices";
Building lightning protection grounding: The connection between the lightning protection strip (copper) on the roof and the down conductor (25-50mm ² copper wire), the OT-25 terminal is compatible with M8 bolts, and quick wiring is carried out at the fixed point of the lightning protection strip bolt to ensure lightning protection conductivity.
In the field of industrial equipment:
Motor junction box: used for connecting 16-70mm ² copper cables with motor terminal posts (fixed with bolts). OT-35 terminals do not require dismantling the motor terminal post bolts and can be directly inserted and tightened to reduce motor downtime (such as production line motor maintenance);
Inverter/PLC control cabinet: Suitable for connecting 6-16mm ² copper wires to bolt type terminal blocks inside the control cabinet. The OT-10 terminal has a compact size and is compatible with dense wiring inside the cabinet. It is tin plated to resist moisture inside the cabinet.
Automotive and Transportation Electrical:
Low voltage circuit for new energy vehicles: used for connecting 2.5-10mm ² copper wires with bolt terminals of on-board controllers (such as BMS, MCU), OT-6 terminal (compatible with M4 bolts) with temperature resistance of -40 ℃~120 ℃, suitable for temperature fluctuations in the car cabin, and quickly complete wire harness assembly;
Commercial vehicle battery wiring: used for connecting 25-50mm ² copper wires to the positive/negative bolts of the battery. The OT-50 terminal has a U-shaped opening that fits the thick bolt of the battery. During installation, there is no need to remove the battery terminal post to avoid the risk of power failure.
