Description

Product Introduction

TXRW1 series and GHTZX1 series special high-voltage current-limiting fuses are one of the main components of DDDXK1 series high-current current limiting circuit breakers/DGXK1 series large-capacity high-speed switches. It is used to extinguish the arc, limit and finally cut off the short-circuit current, the product is safe and explosion-proof, and the end has an action indicator. After the action, the user will replace it by himself, and the manufacturer will provide the user with spare parts at a preferential price for a long time.

Feature

  • High Voltage Adaptability & Wide Rating Range:Suitable for 35kV–220kV high-voltage power systems, with rated current ranging from 10A to 200A and rated short-circuit breaking current up to 120kA. It adapts to diverse high-voltage scenarios such as generator excitation circuits and substation feeder branches.
  • Specialized Material & Structural Design:The fuse body uses high-temperature-resistant ceramic insulation sleeves (withstand temperature ≥1200℃) and hermetically sealed arc-extinguishing medium, ensuring no gas leakage or insulation breakdown even in extreme conditions (e.g., high humidity, dusty environments).
  • Reliable Overvoltage Suppression:Integrates a built-in voltage-clamping component (matching with high-voltage arresters in the system), which suppresses transient overvoltage generated during fuse blowing, avoiding insulation damage to adjacent equipment caused by overvoltage.
  • Precise Action & Anti-Misoperation:Adopts a temperature-compensated fuse element design, ensuring accurate action within the rated current range (action error ≤±5%) and preventing false tripping due to temperature fluctuations or normal load current surges.
  • Easy Monitoring & Maintenance:Equipped with a mechanical striker or electronic signal output terminal; when the fuse blows, it can trigger an alarm or interlock signal in real time, enabling operators to quickly locate faults. The modular design allows for fast replacement (installation time ≤5 minutes) without disassembling the entire high-voltage cabinet.

Main parameters

  • Rated voltage: 7.2~40.5kV
  • Rated current: 100~300A
  • Rated short-circuit breaking current: 63~200kA
FAQ
Q: How to quantify the current limiting effect of UFCL?
A:

Its peak current limiting ratio is 15% to 50%, which means that the actual peak short-circuit current passing through is only 15% to 50% of the expected value, effectively protecting downstream equipment from thermal/dynamic stress damage.

Q: What typical scenarios is UFCL suitable for?
A:

Especially suitable for bus tie section, when the system expansion results in the expected short-circuit current exceeding the breaking capacity of the existing circuit breaker, there is no need to replace the entire switchgear to ensure safety.

Q: What technology does UFCL (Ultra-fast Current limited ) use to achieve "ultra fast" action?
A:

This product is based on pyrotechnical technology and can be triggered in the initial stage of short-circuit current rise (<1ms) to quickly cut off and limit the peak fault current.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
