Description

Description

With the development of the power industry, driven by urbanization, equipment intensification, technological advancements, and the urgent need for scenario adaptability, Rockwill has successfully developed the Top Mounted High/ Low Voltage Bushing Transformer (commonly known as the H59 earthing/Grounding Distribution Transformer), leveraging years of electrical design experience and integrating global advanced technical concepts. The H59 refers to a power transformer where both the high-voltage and low-voltage bushings are vertically installed on the top of the unit. This structural design allows all high- and low-voltage leads to be routed through the top, making it suitable for scenarios with strict lateral space constraints or requiring vertical busbar connections. It is a common type of oil-immersed transformer.

Service Environment

Temperature:

  • Maximum ambient temperature: +50℃;

  • Top oil temperature rise: +50℃

  • Average winding temperature rise: +55℃

Humidity: Daily average humidity 100%.

Above sea level: Maximum installation altitude: 1000m

Features

  • Reliable Grounding Protection: Specifically designed for grid grounding, it effectively suppresses fault currents to ensure system stability and personnel safety.

  • Outdoor Environment Adaptability: With a sealed pad-mounted structure, it is waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, suitable for complex outdoor conditions like humidity and dust.

  • Space-Optimized Design: Pad-mounted installation saves ground space, ideal for land-intensive scenarios such as urban power distribution networks and commercial parks.

  • Three-Phase Balanced Power Supply: Supports three-phase four-wire systems, balancing power and lighting loads with high efficiency and minimal voltage fluctuation.

  • Convenient Maintenance: Centralized top bushing layout eliminates the need for complex opening during 检修 (maintenance), reducing downtime and costs.

  • High Compatibility: Adapts to HV/LV distribution networks, directly connecting to municipal or industrial power systems, and flexibly integrating with grounding compensation equipment.

    Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

  • Why Must a Transformer Core Be Grounded at Only One Point? Isn't Multi-Point Grounding More Reliable?
    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
