Description

Product Introduction

The DGXK1 Large-Capacity High-Speed Switch is a cabinet-mounted product of the DDXK1 High-Current Current-Limiting Circuit Breaker (also known as Short-Circuit Current Limiter, Current Limiter, or FCL). The cabinet is designed and manufactured according to high-voltage switchgear types such as KYN28, KYN18, GG 1A, and XGN, with a width of 1000-1500mm and a depth of 1300-2000mm; non-standard designs can also be provided according to user requirements.

Main Features

  • High-Speed Breaking: It operates and breaks the short-circuit current at the front part of the first power frequency half-wave of the short-circuit current, long before the short-circuit current rises to its peak. The total breaking time is 2-5 ms, approximately 10-20 times faster than circuit breakers.

  • Current-Limiting Breaking: It starts limiting the short-circuit current 1ms after a short circuit occurs, and finally limits the short-circuit current to 15%-45% of the expected value.

  • High Breaking Capacity: The rated prospective short-circuit breaking current is 63-200kA, while the rated short-circuit breaking current of currently common circuit breakers can usually only reach 40.5-50kA.

  • Built-in Rogowski Current Sensor: It features accurate measurement, fast response speed, and can be arranged in separate phases or in a cabinet.

  • High Reliability: One of the competitive advantages of this product is its superior reliability. Special designs and craftsmanship ensure high reliability of the product, which has been tested and well-received in the field.

  • Flexible Cabinet Arrangement: The switchgear can be arranged in a combined or independent manner. Internally, it can be equipped with one or two sets of disconnectors according to the requirements of the design institute, or connected in series with vacuum switches. It has five-prevention interlocking, flexible operation, and is convenient for spare parts replacement.

FAQ
Q: How to ensure the accuracy of current detection?
A:

Equipped with a built-in Rogowski Coil current sensor, it has fast response and good linearity. It supports phase separation or integration into cabinets to ensure reliable detection.

Q: Can it be used in series with a vacuum circuit breaker?
A:

Okay. Vacuum switches, isolation switches, or combination devices can be flexibly configured inside the cabinet, enabling normal operation to be performed by the vacuum switch and short-circuit faults to be quickly limited by DGXK.

Q: What is the speed difference between DGXK and ordinary circuit breakers?
A:

The total breaking time is only 2-5ms, which is 10-20 times faster than conventional circuit breakers, and can complete the current limiting cut-off at the rising edge of the first half wave of the short-circuit current.
