FAQ
Q: What scenarios and voltage/current ranges are SF6 gas-filled bushings suitable for?
A:

Widely used in GIS/HGIS substations, SF6 combined electrical appliances, and high-voltage switchgear. Voltage ranges from medium to ultra-high (up to 550kV), rated current up to 5000A, with 1min power frequency withstand voltage up to 740kV and lightning impulse withstand voltage up to 1675kV. Ideal for power grid projects, industrial distribution systems, and high-altitude/heavy pollution areas.

Q: What is the core function of SF6 gas-filled bushings (composite/ceramic)?
A:

It acts as a key insulation and current-carrying component for GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) and HGIS. With SF6 gas as internal insulation (same pressure as the substation), it connects gas-insulated equipment to overhead lines, realizing safe current transmission while isolating the equipment shell from high voltage, ensuring stable operation of power systems.

Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
