FAQ
Q: What are the key precautions for the installation and maintenance of GPS8-06 protector?
A:

·Installation requirements: It must be installed by a qualified electrician, supporting upper wire (U-shaped)/lower wire (D-type), compatible with EN/IEC 60715 standard 35mm DIN rail, and maintaining a reasonable distance from surrounding equipment during installation;
·Maintenance taboos: The equipment does not have isolation function. Before maintenance, it is necessary to disconnect the higher-level MCB and prohibit live disassembly or wiring;
·Environmental adaptation: Working temperature -20 ℃~+60 ℃, protection level IP40/IP20, keep away from dust, corrosive gases, and strong electromagnetic interference;
·Fault handling: Automatic reset is enabled by default (reset time 2s~900s, factory 30s), and can be turned off. At this time, if there is a fault, press the "decrease button" to manually reset.

Q: What is the GPS8-06 Voltage/Current Protector?
A:

The GPS8-06 Voltage/Current Protector is a compact electrical safety device integrating three-in-one protection (overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent) and intelligent monitoring, specially designed for residential power distribution, small commercial premises and old circuit renovation scenarios. Compatible with AC 220V rated voltage and 45-65Hz frequency, it covers a working voltage range of 80V-400V, and can real-time monitor core parameters such as voltage, current, power and energy consumption. When a circuit abnormality occurs, it quickly cuts off the fault loop within 0.1-10 seconds, and supports automatic reset (adjustable reset time) after the fault is eliminated. Equipped with an LCD digital display and LED fault indicators, it adopts 1-MODULE standard DIN rail installation, which is compact, lightweight and easy to operate, fully protecting electrical equipment and personal electrical safety.

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
