FAQ
Q: Are there any special requirements for installation and operation?
A:
It requires professional operation by trained electrical engineers, with key requirements in line with international electrical operation specifications:
  1. Pre-operation preparation: Ensure the transformer under test is fully powered off, discharged, and grounded; clean the transformer’s test terminals to remove oxide layers, dust, and oil stains to avoid contact resistance affecting test results;
  2. Wiring specifications: Use high-quality copper cables with appropriate cross-sectional area (≥4mm² for small current tests, ≥16mm² for large current tests); strictly follow the wiring diagram to connect, avoiding reverse connection of high-voltage/low-voltage sides and poor grounding;
  3. Operation steps: Select test items on the touch screen → Set transformer parameters (capacity, rated voltage) → Start automatic testing → Monitor test progress in real time → After completion, export PDF/Excel test reports;
  4. Safety precautions: During withstand voltage testing, set up safety fences and warning signs around the transformer and device; no personnel are allowed to approach the high-voltage test area; stop the test immediately if abnormal sparks, noises, or alarms occur.
Q: What are the core functions and working principles?
A:

 It is a high-integration, multi-functional precision testing instrument designed for comprehensive electrical performance detection of power transformers, distribution transformers, oil-immersed transformers, and dry-type transformers. Its core function is to integrate 8+ key test items into one device, realizing one-stop testing of transformer winding DC resistance, turns ratio & connection group, no-load/load loss, insulation resistance, withstand voltage, OLTC dynamic performance, and optional winding deformation (FRA) test, without repeated wiring.

Working principle: Connect the device to the transformer’s high-voltage side, low-voltage side, neutral point, and control circuit once. The embedded industrial computer controls the relay matrix to automatically switch test circuits, outputs standard test signals (high voltage/large current), collects real-time data through a 16-bit high-speed ADC sampling module, processes data with DSP digital signal processing technology, and compares it with IEC 60076, IEEE C57, and GB 1094 standards to generate a compliant and traceable test report. It integrates multiple test functions to avoid the trouble of switching between split instruments, greatly improving testing efficiency.

    Why Do Substations Use Stones, Gravel, Pebbles, and Crushed Rock?In substations, equipment such as power and distribution transformers, transmission lines, voltage transformers, current transformers, and disconnect switches all require grounding. Beyond grounding, we will now explore in depth why gravel and crushed stone are commonly used in substations. Though they appear ordinary, these stones play a critical safety and functional role.In substation grounding design—especially when multiple gr

    Why Does the Transformer Core Need to Be Grounded?During operation, the transformer core, along with the metal structures, parts, and components that fix the core and windings, are all situated in a strong electric field. Under the influence of this electric field, they acquire a relatively high potential with respect to ground. If the core is not grounded, a potential difference will exist between the core and the grounded clamping structures and tank, which may lead to intermittent discharge.I
