Description
400MVA/345kV Phase-shifting transformers (PSTs) can prevent thermal overload in transmission lines and enhance the stability of power systems. By regulating power flow between interconnected networks, they enable increased capacity of existing transmission systems—whether for parallel long-distance overhead lines or parallel cables. Moreover, compared to Flexible Alternative Current Transmission Systems (FACTS), PSTs often offer a more cost-effective solution for power flow management.
Feature
Efficient Rectification Adaptation: Through specific phase-shifting winding designs, it precisely matches rectifier devices, converting AC voltage into smooth DC output. This reduces harmonic interference during rectification and enhances the purity of the DC power supply.
Flexible Power Flow Regulation: Enables precise control of rectified voltage and current by adjusting phase differences, ensuring accurate power supply to loads and adapting to varying power demands across different operating conditions.
Low Harmonic Pollution: Utilizes multi-pulse rectification (e.g., 12-pulse, 24-pulse) to significantly suppress harmonic components, minimizing grid pollution and meeting stringent power quality standards.
High Overload Capacity: Features reinforced windings and cores designed to withstand short-term overloads, meeting the sudden power demands of industrial heavy-load equipment (e.g., electrolysis, electroplating, DC drives).
High Insulation Reliability: Employs special insulation materials and processes to address pulsating voltages and DC components in rectifier systems, enhancing dielectric strength and aging resistance for long-term stable operation.
Compact Integrated Design: With a space-saving structure, it can be installed integrally with rectifier cabinets, reducing line losses and adapting to complex industrial layouts.
