Product overview

Compact substations, mini substations, and prefabricated substations are innovative alternatives to traditional indoor substations. These advanced units are engineered to fulfill diverse user requirements, including electric energy measurement, reactive power compensation, and customized high and low voltage configurations. They embody the future of small and medium-sized power distribution infrastructure.

Technical Specifications

  • Electrical Parameters: Rated for AC frequencies of 50Hz/60HZ, with a maximum operating voltage of 35KV and a maximum operating current of 5000A.

  • Wide Application: Ideal for industrial and mining enterprises, ports, public facilities, high-rise buildings, and residential communities. Our products have a strong global footprint, predominantly exported to Asia, Africa, and other regions. We also offer comprehensive OEM/ODM services to meet unique client needs.

  •  Standards Compliance: Adheres to international and national standards such as IEC60067 and GB 17467-2010, ensuring quality and reliability.

Product Advantages

  • Cutting-edge Technology: Boasting a fully enclosed and insulated structure, these substations ensure safe and reliable operation. They are user-friendly, virtually maintenance-free, and offer cost-effective solutions with low equipment investment.

  • Robust Shell Design: The casing features excellent durability, thermal insulation, and ventilation. It demonstrates stable performance in various environments, with corrosion resistance, dustproof, and waterproof properties, while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Multiple shell materials are available, including steel plates, composite plates, stainless steel plates, and cement plates, with protection grades up to IP67.

Functional Configuration

Independent Compartments:

  • Divided into three separate areas: high voltage room, low voltage room, and transformer room.

  • High Voltage Room: Equipped with XGN15, HXGN17, or SF6 switchgear, ensuring efficient high-voltage management. Low Voltage Side: Utilizes panel or cabinet-mounted structures, enabling the creation of customized power supply schemes. It supports functions like power distribution, lighting control, reactive power compensation, and energy metering. The main switch can be a universal circuit breaker or an intelligent circuit breaker, providing flexible installation and easy operation.

  • Transformer Options: Available with fully sealed oil-immersed transformers or dry type transformers to suit different application needs.

  • Superior Busbar System: Supports three-phase four-wire or three-phase five-wire systems. Constructed from high-quality three-phase tinned copper busbars, it offers high mechanical strength and excellent heat dissipation capabilities.

Operating Conditions

  • Temperature: Ambient air temperature ranges from -45 °C to 45 °C.

  • Altitude: Suitable for altitudes up to 1000m; can be extended to 4000m with customized transformers and low-voltage components.

  • Installation: Recommended for installation with a vertical inclination not exceeding 5°, in environments free from severe vibrations and impacts.

  • Humidity: Operational in air humidity levels of up to 90% at +25℃.

  •  Environmental Requirements: Designed for use in areas without conductive dust, explosion hazards, or gases that could corrode metal and electrical components. Outdoor installations should be in locations where wind speeds do not exceed 35m/s. For conditions outside these norms, we offer custom solutions tailored to your specific requirements.

Ordering Guidelines

When placing an order, please provide the following details:

Main loop scheme diagram and secondary loop system diagram. Electrical schematic diagram of the auxiliary circuit and wiring terminal layout. Equipment layout drawing, combination drawing, and floor plan drawing. Model, specification, and quantity of main electrical components. Incoming and outgoing line methods and cable specifications. Cost Differences and Performance Comparison of 35kV New Energy Transformers Based on Dry-Type, Mineral Oil, and Vegetable Oil
Cost Differences and Performance Comparison of 35kV New Energy Transformers Based on Dry-Type, Mineral Oil, and Vegetable Oil
For users, when purchasing a 35kV new energy transformer, choosing between dry-type, mineral oil-filled, or vegetable oil-filled types involves multiple considerations. These include user habits, maintenance-free performance, safety and fire resistance, volume and weight, among others. However, cost differences are undoubtedly one of the most crucial factors. To illustrate the issue intuitively, this paper selects a three-level energy efficiency dual-winding new energy transformer with a rated ca

What is the connection group of a transformer?
What is the connection group of a transformer?
Transformer Connection GroupThe connection group of a transformer refers to the phase difference between the primary and secondary voltages or currents. It is determined by the winding directions of the primary and secondary coils, the labeling of their start and end terminals, and the connection mode. Expressed in a clock-like format, there are 12 groups in total, numbered from 0 to 11.The DC method is commonly used to measure the transformer's connection group, mainly to verify whether the con

Working Voltage in Power System
Working Voltage in Power System
Working VoltageThe term "working voltage" refers to the maximum voltage that a device can withstand without sustaining damage or burning out, while ensuring the reliability, safety, and proper operation of both the device and associated circuits. For long-distance power transmission, the use of high voltage is advantageous. In AC systems, maintaining a load power factor as close to unity as possible is also economically necessary. Practically, heavy currents are more challenging to handle than hi

What is Steady State Stability in Power System?
What is Steady State Stability in Power System?
Definition of Steady State StabilitySteady state stability is defined as the capability of an electric power system to sustain its initial operating condition following a small disturbance, or to converge to a state closely approximating the initial condition when the disturbance persists. This concept holds critical significance in power system planning and design, the development of specialized automatic control devices, the commissioning of new system components, and the adjustment of operati

What is the sequence for powering down the transformer?
What is the sequence for powering down the transformer?
The sequence for shutting down a main transformer is as follows: when de-energizing, the load side should be shut down first, followed by the power supply side. For energizing operations, the reverse order applies: the power supply side is energized first, then the load side. This is because: Energizing from the power supply side to the load side makes it easier to identify the fault range and take prompt judgment and handling measures in case of a fault, preventing the fault from spreading or e

What are the methods for switching operations of station transformers?
What are the methods for switching operations of station transformers?
Let's take an auxiliary power system with two station transformers as an example. When one station transformer needs to be out of service, there are two operation methods: non-interruptive power supply and instantaneous power interruption. Generally, the method of instantaneous power interruption on the low-voltage side is preferred. The operation method for instantaneous power interruption on the low-voltage side is as follows:Open the 380V power incoming circuit breaker of the corresponding sec
