How does a Supercharger work?

Charging principle:

  • DC charging: The charging station converts the alternating current (AC) provided by the power grid into direct current (DC) suitable for charging the electric vehicle battery, and directly charges the battery of the electric vehicle through a high-voltage cable.

  • Direct charging: Eliminates the conversion step of the on-board charger and directly sends high-power direct current into the battery system of the electric vehicle.
