Overview
1. Small size, light weight, reliable operation.

3. Medium and high voltage step-down starting autotransformers use epoxy resin casting process for windings, with partial discharge level less than 3pC, ensuring long ser vice life and leading the industry.

5. The output voltage of the step-down starting autotransformer can be customized according to the allowable starting current and required starting torque.

Applications:
Step-down starting autotransformers are mainly used to reduce the input voltage of motors, thereby reducing the starting current. They can also change the motor input voltage and starting current magnitude by selecting different transformer taps, thus achieving the purpose of changing the starting torque. This starting method has a smaller impact on the power supply voltage during startup, less mechanical shock to the equipment, and a shorter motor starting time. It is typically used for reduced voltage starting of motors with rated voltages of 10kV and below.
