Open Circuit Voltage: What is it?
What is Open Circuit Voltage? When an open circuit condition is created in any device or circuit, the difference of electric potential between the two terminals is known as the open-circuit voltage. In network analysis, the open-circuit voltage is also known as the Thevenin Voltage. The open-circuit voltage is often shortened to OCV or VOC in mathematical equations. In open-circuit conditions, the external load is disconnected from the source. An electric current will not flow through the circuit.

 Eddy Current Testing
A non-destructive test technique that may be used on conductive materials is eddy current testing. Adjacent to the test surface is a test coil that is powered by alternating current.Eddy currents are created in the test piece as a result of the alternating magnetic field which is produced. The test coil changes in a quantifiable way as a result of variances in eddy current flow. These modifications can be observed on a screen & analysed to find flaws.By keeping track of variations in impedan

What is Ohm’s Law?
Ohm’s Law – Statement:Ohm’s law states that the current flow through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage across the conductor and inversely proportional to the resistance of the conductor, where the temperature remains constant.Where,I denotes Current,V denotes Voltage andR denotes ResistanceOhm’s Law Triangle:Ohm’s law triangle was formed through determining V, I, and R.Ohm’s Law discusses the important variables in circuits: QUANTITY SYMBOL SI UNIT DENOTED BY

What is Watts Law? Explain relationship among Ohm’s & Watt’s law
What is Watts Law?The relationship in an electrical circuit between amperage, voltage drop, and poweris described by Watts law. According to Watts Law, the product of an electrical circuit’s voltage and current determines the power of the system.Energy is transferred at a rate called electric power. The unit of power measuredisjoules per second (J/s).When one joule of work is performed each second, one watt of electricity is lost each second (W).Formula for Watts Law:Watts law can be expressed u

 Kirchhoff’s Current Law
Kirchhoff’s Laws include two fundamental principles in electrical circuit analysis: Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL) (Kirchhoff’s First Law or Kirchhoff’s 1st Law)& Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL) (Kirchhoff’s Second Law or Kirchhoff’s 2nd Law). These principles serve as essential tools for evaluating complicated electrical circuits, allowing engineers &researchers to predict &comprehend the behavior of circuits in various configurations. Kirchhoff’s Laws are widely applied in Electronics

Faraday’s Laws of Electromagnetic Induction
Faraday’s law, also known as Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, is a fundamental law of electromagnetism that predicts how a magnetic field interacts with an electric circuit to produce an electromotive force (EMF). This is referred to as “electromagnetic induction.”Faraday laws of electromagnetic induction:Faraday’s Laws of Electromagnetic Induction consist of two laws:1. The first law describes the induction of emf in a conductor and2. The second law calculates the conductor’s generat

Coulomb’s Law:Coulomb’s law states that the force of attraction or repulsion between two chargesis directly proportional to the product of their charges and inversely proportional to the square of their distance from one another. It functions on the section that connects the two charges that are regarded of as point charges.Coulomb’s Law Formula:Where,F= Electric Force,K= Coulomb’s Constant,q1, q2= chargesr= between distanceWhat Is one Coulomb of Charge? It is known as a coulomb when two charges

Explain Lenz’s Law
What is Lenz’s Law?Lenz’s law of electromagnetic induction explains that the direction of the current induced in a conductor by a changing magnetic field (as per Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction) is such that the magnetic field created by the induced current opposes the changing magnetic field that caused it. The direction of thecurrent flow is shown byFleming’s right-hand rule.Lenz’s law is based on Faraday’s law of induction, which says that a changing magnetic field will cause a cur

DC Voltage: What is it?
What is DC Voltage?DC voltage stands for “Direct Current Voltage”. While this sounds confusing, the term “DC” has become used more broadly to refer to a system that has constant polarity. Hence DC voltage is a voltage that produces or would produce a DC current. Conversely, an AC voltage is a voltage that produces or would produce AC current.DC in this context refers more broadly to quantities that don’t regularly change polarity or that have zero (or effectively zero) frequency. AC refers to qu
